Role Description :

• We are seeking a full-time Assistant Fashion Designer for an on-site role in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will assist in various aspects of fashion design, including embroidery, fittings, textile selection, and overall design execution. This role also involves managing production, overseeing shoots, and contributing to brand campaigns.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in fashion design, embroidery, and fittingsWork with textiles and pattern makingOversee production and quality controlOversee team of masters, tailors and weaversManage inventory, look books, and fashion campaignsCoordinate and supervise photo shoots and branding initiativesCollaborate on textile sourcing and handloom integrationUtilize design software like Adobe Illustrator , (preferred)Attend trade shows and exhibitionsTravel to weaving clusters and for fabric sourcing.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with a reputed fashion designer or brandStrong skills in embroidery, fittings, and textilesExperience in the fashion industry and production managementCreative, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team environmentStrong organizational and time management skills.
• A degree in Fashion Design or a related field is a plusKnowledge of Indian textiles and handloom is an advantage . This role is an excellent opportunity to work with a high-end fashion brand and contribute to creating timeless, artisanal pieces.
