Job Overview:

The Assistant Manager - Quality is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the quality standards of the organization. They will be involved in planning, coordinating, and implementing quality control procedures to ensure that products meet company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing quality control data and identifying areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing quality control procedures and systems
  • Conducting quality control checks on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods
  • Ensuring compliance with company and industry quality standards
  • Investigating and resolving quality-related issues
  • Providing training for employees on quality control processes and procedures
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of quality control documentation and records
  • Collaborating with other departments to improve overall quality and efficiency
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure quality standards for raw materials
  • Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Textiles
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a quality control role in Spinning Mill
  • Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and techniques
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
  • Experience with quality control software and systems

Working Conditions:

The Assistant Manager - Quality will primarily work in an office setting, but may also be required to spend time on the production floor for quality checks. They may also need to work extra hours to meet project deadlines or attend meetings and conferences. Some travel may be required to visit suppliers or attend industry events.
