Job Description Sheet- For Engineer- QC

• Execute construction projects from beginning to end related quality management requirements.
• The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement such as PQP, ITP & QCP.
• Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
• Collaborate with vendor & subcontractors engineers, key team members of the project team to meet effective results.
• Determine the necessary test equipment, materials needed & Evaluate risks and resolve any problems that may arise.
• Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards. Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, standards and specifications. Perform overall quality control of the work and report regularly on project status.
• Responsible for mentoring Site Engineers, vendor, sub-contractor construction workers and labourers depending on the size of the project.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
• Perform all internal and external audits as per the management standards.
• Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control measures. & Train staff on quality standards and processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, BIS,ASTM, etc.) and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

Technical Proficiency :

• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices & Knowledge of Standards and Regulations.
• Attention to Detail - Keen eye for detail to identify defects and areas for improvement.
