The Woven Fabric Sourcing Specialist is responsible for sourcing high-quality woven fabrics that meet design, quality, and cost requirements. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with woven fabric suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of fabrics.
Key Responsibilities :
- Woven Fabric Sourcing: Identify and develop relationships with reliable woven fabric suppliers who can meet quality, price, and delivery requirements.
- Fabric Selection: Collaborate with design teams to select woven fabrics that meet design requirements, quality standards, and budget constraints.
- Price Negotiation: Negotiate prices with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
- Supply Chain Management: Manage woven fabric inventory, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of fabrics to manufacturing facilities.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on woven fabrics to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including design, production, and procurement, to ensure effective communication and smooth fabric sourcing.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market research to inform woven fabric sourcing decisions.
