Job Title: Fashion Designer & Merchandiser

Location: Ahmedabad ( on-site )

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development:
• Research and conceptualize denim silhouettes, fits, and washes in line with brand direction and market demand.
• Develop detailed tech packs for manufacturers, ensuring clarity on design, fabric, trims, and construction techniques.
• Work closely with pattern makers and sample teams to refine fits and ensure accurate production execution.
• Merchandising & Production Coordination:
• Manage end-to-end development from sampling to bulk production, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Source fabrics, trims, and washes, optimizing for quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with vendors and factories to maintain production efficiency and resolve technical challenges.
• Analyze sales trends and consumer insights to curate commercially successful denim collections.
• Market & Trend Analysis:
• Stay updated on denim industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging fits/styles.
• Integrate fashion forecasts into product planning for upcoming collections.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 2-4 years in denim design & merchandising, preferably in a commercial jeans brand.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of jeans silhouettes, washes, stitching techniques, and production processes.
• Software Proficiency: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar design tools.
• Communication & Coordination: Ability to liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for seamless execution.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to balance creativity with technical precision in designing and production planning.
