Shades Of You is a manufacturing firm and retail brand which has been taking pride in selling top-of-the-class women's apparel to clients all over the world - wholesalers and direct customers, both, in a very unique technique of hand printing called batik. Our in-house provision of hand printing and dyeing makes us flexible in fulfilling our client's custom requirements, by developing samples as per their demand. Our in-house production unit enables us to deploy effective quality checks every step of the way, ensuring fewer errors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate purchase orders
  • Plan the purchase of raw material and trims
  • Plan printing and stitching of given orders
  • Maintain a tally of existing fabric/trim stock against ongoing orders
  • Cross-check previous rates of raw material purchases compared to new purchases to highlight any price changes
  • Conduct cost analysis for every department in the manufacturing unit and devise new strategies for better output
  • Regularly maintain and update cutting reports with the Accounts department
  • Manage staff to ensure instructions are enforced and quality standards are maintained
  • Tally order quantity against cut, print, stitch, dispatch, and defect quantity to ensure no fabric or piece is unaccounted for
  • Finalize averages of styles per order quantity to minimize fabric wastage
  • Check layer length before the master proceeds with cutting
  • Get fit samples and pre-production samples approved
  • Ensure all trims are ready before pieces go for stitching
  • Make cutting reports after the cutting is completed
  • Randomly check the stitching quality of pieces while on the machines
  • Supervise day-to-day activities of Cutting Masters, Layer-men, Helpers, and Stitching Karigars
  • Maintain Karigars' production charts daily to derive per-product cost
  • Tally order quantity against cutting quantity and pack quantity to ensure all pieces are accounted for
  • Manage trims, fabric, or any materials required for sampling or bulk production
  • Manage the cutting report and challan system
  • Execute purchase orders in the stitching department
  • Oversee and maintain quality standards, including stitching quality, precise measurements, and adherence to buyer instructions for labels and packaging
  • Meet stitching deadlines through efficient order supervision
  • Dispatch retail orders with accurate quantities while maintaining comprehensive inventory tracking

Additional Information:

  • Work Hours: For men - 9 AM to 7 PM & For women - 9 AM to 6 PM (Mon to Sat)
  • Probation Period: 2 Months (your probation period salary & final salary will be different. Final salary will be decided after your probation period)
