Job Summary :
We are looking for a Graphic and Textile Designer with expertise in woven & knits apparel to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative print and textile designs tailored to primarily woven fabrics while ensuring alignment with market trends and production feasibility. This role requires a strong understanding of textile design, fabric construction, and print application techniques to create visually appealing and commercially viable designs for woven & knits apparel.

Key Responsibilities :

Textile & Graphic Design :
• Develop original print and woven pattern designs specifically for fabrics used in shirts, dresses, bottoms, and outerwear.
• Create placement prints, all-over patterns, and engineered designs that complement garment structures.
• Ensure designs are optimized for different fabric textures, yarn types, and finishes.

Trend & Market Research :
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, color palettes, and consumer preferences.
• Develop seasonal trend reports and mood boards to guide fabric and print development.
• Work closely with buyers and merchandisers to understand customer needs and tailor designs accordingly.

Technical Development :
• Prepare production-ready artwork with correct repeats, color separations, and scale adjustments.
• Work with digital and screen-printing techniques for apparel textiles, ensuring compatibility with fabric properties.
• Coordinate with fabric mills and printing units to oversee sample development and quality assurance.

Collaboration & Communication :
• Work closely with product development, sourcing, and production teams to ensure seamless execution of designs on woven fabrics.
• Provide creative input in design meetings and present concepts effectively.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure color accuracy and print execution match design specifications.
Qualifications & Skills :
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in textile or graphic design, preferably in the woven garment industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing textile prints, patterns, and graphic design work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and textile CAD software.
• Understanding of fabric construction, yarn types, weaving techniques, and print applications.
• Experience in color matching, digital printing, and screen-printing methods.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and an eye for color and pattern composition.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience :
• Prior work experience in a woven garment manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of sustainable textile design and eco-friendly print techniques.
