Key Responsibilities:

Fabric Sourcing :

• Identify and evaluate suppliers for fabrics and materials suitable for protective textiles.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and conduct regular assessments of supplier performance.

Production Planning :

• Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement production schedules that align with client orders and delivery timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate with the quality assurance team to ensure that all products meet industry standards and specifications.

Product Development :

• Assist in the design and development of new products by providing insights on fabric properties and production techniques.
• Work closely with the design team to ensure that product specifications are met throughout the development process.

Client Interaction :

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding order status, product specifications, and any issues that may arise during production.
• Prepare and present reports on production status, fabric sourcing, and market trends to management and clients.

Market Research :

• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and advancements in fabric technology relevant to protective textiles.
• Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and innovative materials that can enhance product offerings.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience :

• Proven experience in sourcing fabrics and managing production processes.
