Job Responsibility:

• Production Planning

Develop and implement production schedules to meet business demands and customer requirements.

Ensure optimal utilization of plant resources, including labor, machinery, and materials.

Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of raw materials.

• Operations Management

Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to production plans and targets.

Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to maintain workflow efficiency.

Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-

effectiveness

• Quality Control

Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.

Implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures.

Address and resolve any production issues related to quality defects.

• Team Leadership

Supervise and manage production staff, including hiring, training, and performance

evaluations

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance

updates

• Health and Safety

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.

Address any safety concerns promptly and effectively.

Maintenance Coordination

Work with the maintenance team to ensure all machinery and equipment are in good

working condition.

Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

• Inventory Management

Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

Coordinate with the inventory team to manage stock levels and reorder as necessary

Reporting and Documentation

Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular reports on production

performance.

Analyse production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Cost Management

Control production costs by optimizing resource usage and minimizing waste. Prepare

and manage the production budget.
