Job Descriptions

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategy:

    • Lead the development of comprehensive ad sales strategies to meet revenue goals and expand market share.
    • Identify new revenue opportunities and innovative ad products or services that meet market demands.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends and ensure the sales team is equipped with the latest insights and tools.
  2. Team Leadership & Development:

    • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring optimal performance and achieving sales targets.
    • Recruit and train new sales team members, providing them with ongoing support, coaching, and performance feedback.
    • Set clear sales goals, track individual and team performance, and implement action plans to achieve or exceed targets.
  3. Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and partners to ensure client satisfaction and maximize revenue.
    • Negotiate and close high-value advertising deals, ensuring both client needs and company goals are met.
    • Act as a key point of contact for top-tier advertisers, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns.
  4. Sales Forecasting & Reporting:

    • Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue tracking to ensure targets are being met.
    • Provide regular sales reports and performance analysis to senior management.
    • Adjust strategies and tactics based on performance and market conditions.
  5. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

    • Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with broader company initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the creative and media teams to ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly.
    • Actively participate in product development and strategy discussions, offering insights based on client feedback and sales performance.
  6. Budget & P&L Management:

    • Develop and manage the ad sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
    • Monitor and control ad sales expenses to ensure profitability.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in ad sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth, building sales teams, and managing key client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of digital, TV, print, or multi-platform advertising.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and team development.
