• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Lead and manage the quality assurance department, including hiring, training, and performance management of staff.
• Establish and maintain quality control procedures and standards for all stages of garment production.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and analyze quality issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain detailed documentation of quality inspections, defects, corrective actions, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of raw materials and finished products.
• Provide strategic direction and support to the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in garment quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Garment Manufacturing Technology, Fashion Design, or a related field. A Master’s degree is highly preferable.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in garment quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and quality standards.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Quality Management or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
