We're seeking a talented Textile Designer to join our team and play a vital role in creating innovative designs for our growing fashion segment.
Responsibilities :Conduct in-depth research on current fashion trends, analyzing market data and consumer preferences specific to the Indian market.
Possess a strong understanding of traditional and contemporary Indian textile design aesthetics.
Collaborate with product development and merchandising teams to ensure designs are commercially viable and align with production capabilities.
Have a deep understanding of fabric types, textures, printing techniques, and embellishments suitable for Sarees and Kurtis.
Oversee the sampling process, providing feedback and making adjustments to achieve desired results.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Textile Design/ Fashion related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in textile design for fashion applications, preferably with a focus on Indian ethnic wear.
Strong portfolio showcasing a creative and innovative approach to textile design.
Excellent sketching and digital design skills (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
In-depth knowledge of Indian textiles, weaving techniques, and printing processes.
Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and meeting deadlines.
