Managerial Responsibilities:
- Assesses and trains departmental supervisors.
- Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Understand clients’ needs and provide clear instruction to creatives.
- Conceptualize and sketch design plans. Determine cost of completion and project requirements
in the budgeting phase.
- Set a timeline for the completion of the project.
- Monitoring and recording the artists at every stage of the design.
- Handing over to the production - the final artwork pattern after thorough check.
- Following with the production in the initial stage if the final product is meeting all client needs.
- Updating the library on regular basis.
- Review and approve the works of creatives, drawing, printing, skits, graphics & photography.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Good & active listening to quickly understand ideas & concepts of clients.
- Comfortable with risk taking by trying new concepts to create masterpiece.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Portfolio of design work.
- Project management experience.
- Highly creative, imaginative, and artistic.
- Excellent communication skills, especially regarding communicating an artistic vision.
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Illustrator, Sketch Up or similar design software.
- Desire and Ability to Travel.
- Pattern making, Love of Art and Creation
