Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory Management.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels for apparel, ensuring timely stock replenishment and efficient stock turnover.
• Analyse sell-through rates and make data-driven decisions to optimize inventory levels and product availability.
• Track key dates related to inventory, including stock arrival and distribution timelines.
Product Planning & Sourcing:
• Source and select apparel items that align with Aravalii’s brand aesthetics and consumer demand.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
• Work closely with the production team to manage the product lifecycle from sourcing to sales.
Visual Merchandising:
• Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies that enhance the appeal of products across e-commerce platforms.
• Ensure product presentation is consistent with the brand’s identity, creating an engaging shopping experience.
• Collaborate with the e-commerce and marketing teams to create visually cohesive online product displays.
Collaboration:
• Work with the production, sales, and e-commerce teams to align on stock levels, upcoming product launches, and sales targets.
• Regularly communicate with suppliers and vendors to track product status and negotiate pricing or delivery terms when necessary.
Qualifications:
• 3-4 years of experience in merchandising, specifically within the fashion and apparel industry.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including sell-through rates, stock turn, and inventory days management.
• Experience working with vendors and suppliers in sourcing and managing apparel stock.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and tools, such as Unicommerce and Shopify.
• Ability to create and implement visual merchandising strategies for digital platforms.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments, including production, sales, and e-commerce teams.
