As an Assistant Fashion Designer, you will support the design process from concept to product development. You should have a logical, sequential hands-on experience to conceptualize design, make patterns, drape, and construct garments of impeccable quality that resonate with our brand's values and aesthetics. Accompanying the nuances of fashion designing, spanning Design, technology and construction to contribute in successful execution of our design vision.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to conduct thorough trend research, staying updated on the latest fashion trends, consumer preferences, and industry innovations.
• To develop inspiring design concepts and translate them into sketches, mood boards, and visual presentations and showcasing final themes, master colour palette, silhouette/fabric/trims/prints.
• You will assist the head designer in creating detailed technical drawings, spec sheets, and tech packs. Then will collaborate on developing original and commercially viable fashion designs, ensuring they meet quality standards, fit requirements, and production feasibility.
• Working closely with the sourcing teams, you will assist in selecting appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for each design.
• You will conduct research, collaborate with Merchandiser, and provide fabric and trim options and recommendations for consideration.
• You will play a key role in the sample development process by coordinating with the production team and pattern makers. Working closely with fittings, making necessary adjustments, and communicating changes to ensure proper garment fit and construction.
• You will be working with various digital designing software's to create and design various content for print and digital collateral.
• Additionally, you will actively participate in photoshoots, including styling the looks, coordinating with stylists, and conducting model trials. Along with contribution to team meetings, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions, offering creative insights and ideas.

Candidate must possess:

• Experience- up to 2 years in women's wear western category in any retail brand.
• Qualification- Bachelors in Fashion Design
• Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva
• In-depth understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, trims, and garment construction techniques.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a discerning eye for aesthetics.
• Strong communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams.
