Responsibilities

Source knitted fabrics efficiently and on time for both samples and bulk production, including solid, yarn-dyed, and all-over printed fabrics.

Manage SAP Purchase Order (PO) creation process, Goods Receipt Note (GRN), and follow up on accounting and payment procedures.

Demonstrate expertise in synthetic fabrics, ensuring comprehensive knowledge and effective handling throughout sourcing and production stages.

Coordinate with test labs for fabric testing, monitor reports, and troubleshoot in case of failures or discrepancies.

Handle Free of Charge (FOC) claims in instances of deviation from specifications or delivery schedules, ensuring resolution and mitigation.

Utilize strong communication and analytical skills to liaise effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, production timelines, and budgetary constraints.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Textiles or related field.

Minimum 10-15 years of experience in sourcing and production coordination within an export garment manufacturing environment.

Proven track record in sourcing knitted fabrics, with a solid understanding of solid, yarn-dyed, and all-over printed fabric production processes.

Strong knowledge of synthetic fabrics and their properties.

Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for PO creation and inventory management.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fabric quality, production delays, and supplier performance.

Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Highly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
