Position : Merchandising Specialist
Location : Infocity, Gurgaon
Industry : Export House – Leather / Metal / Hardgoods
Experience Required : 5-8 years
Qualification : Graduate/Diploma in Merchandising

Key Responsibilities :

 Experience in Leather Hard Goods :

• Preferably have experience working with leather hard goods.
• Familiar with various leather products and their specifications.

 Product Familiarity :

•  Have a comprehensive understanding of the products being managed.

 PO Negotiation :

• Negotiate Purchase Orders (PO) with buyers, including price, specifications, and quantities.

 Production Planning :

• Execute production plans according to targets and deadlines.
• Ensure timely production and adherence to quality standards.

 Technical Skills :

• Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to prepare and manage production trackers and inspection plans.

Sample Development :

• Develop samples according to buyer requirements.
• Ensure production aligns with approved samples.

 Coordination and Approval :

• Coordinate with the buying team and buyers for necessary approvals.
• Manage barcode, carton marking, and tags as per buyer manuals.

 Testing Knowledge :

• Knowledge of product and transit testing procedures.
• Ensure products meet testing standards before final approval.

 Production Tracking and Reporting :

• Prepare weekly production trackers.
• Offer detailed inspection plans and manage the approval process for final shipments.
