Pre-Production :

•  Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to inform product development.
• Collaborate with design teams to create product lines aligned with business objectives.
• Source and develop supplier relationships for materials, trims, and finishes.
• Conduct cost negotiations with suppliers and manufacturers.

Production :

• Manage production planning, scheduling, and tracking.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
• Conduct regular factory visits and audits.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.

Logistics and Delivery :

• Coordinate shipping, customs clearance, and delivery.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists).
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management.

Communication and Collaboration :

• Liaise with cross-functional teams (design, sales, production).
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
• Provide market feedback and product performance insights.

Performance Metrics :

• Product quality and compliance.
• Timely delivery and lead-time reduction.
• Cost savings and budget management.
• Customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of merchandising experience in apparel/textiles/export industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textiles, Business, or related field.
• Strong understanding of production processes, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and merchandising software.
• Ability to travel (domestic/international).

Desirable Skills :

• Experience with international markets and customers.
• Knowledge of sustainability and social compliance.
• Familiarity with industry-specific certifications.
