GM Fabrics is hiring "General Manager - Dyeing" for Tarapur location.
Job Role: ·
- Develop and implement efficient dyeing processes, considering factors such as fabric type, color, and desired finish.
- Monitor the dyeing process from start to finish, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
- Optimize dyeing recipes to achieve desired color, fastness, and other properties.
- Troubleshoot dyeing issues and implement corrective measures.
- Conduct regular inspections of dyed fabrics to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Implement quality control measures to minimize waste and rework.
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of dyeing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Schedule regular maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime.
- Lead and manage a team of dyeing technicians.
- Monitor dyeing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Education and skillsets :
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in the dyeing industry, preferably in the home furnishing sector.
- Strong knowledge of dyeing techniques, color theory, and quality control measures.
- Experience with various types of dyeing equipment, such as jiggers, becks, and continuous dyeing machines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
