We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Activewear Designer to join our team, bringing innovative and stylish designs to our activewear line. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fashion design, particularly within the activewear industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Design Development: Create original, trend-forward designs for activewear that align with brand aesthetics and market demands.
2. Trend Research: Stay updated on the latest trends in activewear and performance fabrics to inform design decisions.
3. Material Sourcing: Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality performance fabrics and trims suitable for activewear designs.
4. Technical Drawings: Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing purposes.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, production, and marketing to ensure seamless execution of designs.
6. Prototype Review: Oversee the sample creation process, providing feedback on fit, functionality, and overall design aesthetics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- Proven experience as an Activewear Designer or similar role within the fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of performance fabrics, construction techniques, and garment functionality.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator or other relevant programs.
- A keen eye for detail with a passion for creating innovative activewear designs that resonate with consumers.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across different departments.
