Job Title: Female Designer Medical Textiles

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and creative female designer to join our team as a Designer – Medical Textiles. The role involves designing and developing innovative medical textile products while ensuring quality, functionality, and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will also lead product development, optimize fabric usage, and manage teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Development:

- Design and develop innovative medical textile products tailored to user needs.

- Ensure designs are functional, aesthetic, and cost-effective.

2. Product Development & Testing:

- Lead the development and testing of new medical textile products.

- Collaborate with teams to improve product performance and efficiency.

3. Quality Control & Assurance:

- Monitor and maintain quality standards for materials and finished products.

- Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure defect-free production.

4. Fabric & Material Expertise:

- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of textile materials and manufacturing processes.

- Optimize fabric usage to minimize wastage and maximize efficiency.

5. Team & Production Management:

- Lead and manage the design and production team to meet company objectives.

- Train and guide staff to maximize productivity and maintain high standards.

- Oversee production processes to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.

6. Project Management & Planning:

- Plan and execute design and production projects with precision.

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless operations.

- Travel for business meetings, vendor interactions, and other business requirements.

7. Tools & Resource Management:

- Manage tools and resources needed for design and production.

- Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary equipment for efficient workflow.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience in textile design, product development, and quality control (preferably in medical textiles).

- Strong knowledge of textile materials, yarns, tailoring techniques, and manufacturing processes.

- Excellent design skills, project management abilities, and attention to detail.

- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to train and guide teams.

- Flexibility to travel for business requirements.

Additional Requirements:

- Ability to manage and motivate staff to achieve company goals.

- Knowledge of medical fabric standards and industry guidelines.
