Fashion Merchandiser Job Description 

• We are hiring for creative fashion merchandisers with BUYING HOUSE experience to join our team. As the fashion merchandiser, it will be your responsibility to plan, source, and conduct the production cycle.
• We are hiring for merchandiser position and experience in Garments, Accessories and Home Products would be a key requirement. Prior experience of 3 years in a buying house is required.
• A successful fashion merchandiser should be up-to-date with the latest developments and trends shaping the fashion industry, possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, and be able to effectively combine both marketing and fashion design expertise to produce sales.

Responsibilities :

• Evaluate the latest fashion trends, buying patterns, and demographics of our target market.
• Plan, source, and oversee the implementation of product presentations.
• Purchase the necessary apparel, accessories, and footwear to complete designs.
• Collaborate with fashion designers, suppliers, and distributors to negotiate contracts and finalize deadlines.
• Organize and conduct PPM.
• Participate in client and factory meetings and prepare detailed minutes of the meeting and track action items.
• Perform proper analysis of buyer order.
• To follow up manufacturing process.
• To organize the work scheduling of different departments
• To negotiate with the buyer and manufacturers about order prices.
• To maintain proper team work for execution an order.
• Manage order booking on client portal and management of the same till delivery.
• Attend fashion shows, trade fairs, and seminars on behalf of the business.
• Meet with the Merchandising Head to discuss sales reports and customer feedback.
• Assist the Merchandising Head with all delegated work activities and proactively update for status and progress and updates.
• Fashion Merchandiser Requirements:
• Degree in merchandising and/or fashion design.
• Proven experience as a fashion merchandiser or visual merchandiser.
• Strong knowledge of the latest fashion trends and developments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
