Job Descriptions

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage the overall operations of the circular knitting plant, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
  • Monitor and optimize machine performance, minimizing downtime and maximizing output.
  • Ensure quality control at all production stages, maintaining high industry standards.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for plant maintenance and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams for raw material availability and stock management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Handle workforce management, including training, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain accurate production reports and ensure timely communication with senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a circular knitting fabric manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of circular knitting machines, fabric production processes, and quality control.
  • Leadership and team management skills with experience handling plant operations.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, compliance standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems related to manufacturing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in automation and modern knitting technologies.
  • Understanding of textile dyeing and finishing processes.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
