Position : Textile Weaving Dobby & 3D Mapping Designer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Textile Weaving Dobby & 3D Mapping Designer to create innovative woven textile designs using dobby weaving techniques and integrate them with 3D mapping for digital visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
Dobby Weaving Design :
- Develop intricate woven textile patterns using dobby loom technology.
- Create technical specifications for weave structures, yarn selection, and fabric properties.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality control.
- Optimize designs for efficiency in manufacturing while maintaining aesthetic appeal.
3D Digital Mapping & Visualization :
- Use 3D software (such as Textornics, Nedgraphics and Penelope) to simulate woven textiles in virtual environments.
- Generate realistic 3D fabric renderings for prototyping and client presentations.
- Work with fashion designers and product developers to integrate textiles into 3D garment simulations.
- Troubleshoot and refine digital textures to match physical woven samples.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Education: Degree in Textile Design and Weaving Technology, Fashion Technology, or related field.
Experience:
- Proficiency in dobby weaving design software (e.g., Textornics, Nedgraphics and Penelope).
- Strong skills in 3D textile simulation tools (e.g., Textornics).
- Knowledge of yarn properties, weave structures, and fabric finishing.

Pay : ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
