Job Purpose
To act as the key link between Or sun’s Israel Head Office (www.homestyle.co.il) and the Indian sourcing office, ensuring smooth execution of all buying, merchandising, product development, and marketing activities for the Home Textiles category.
Indian Office Location: Delhi Department: Home Textiles Division
Reporting to: Country Head – India
Experience Required: 0-2 Years, Knowledge in Basic Textile will be preferred
Industry: Home Textiles (Bed Linen, Bath Linen, Table Linen, Curtains, Cushions, Rugs, etc.)
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordination with Israel Head Office
o Daily/weekly communication with buyers, designers, and management in Israel.
o Understand seasonal requirements, trends, price points, and quality expectations.
o Present new developments, sampling status, cost sheets, and marketing material to Israel HO via calls, emails, and presentations.
2. Coordination with Indian Manufacturers & Suppliers
o Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with reliable factories/vendors across India ; mega /vertical /stand-alone set ups as well as Clusters like Ahmedabad, Surat, Panipat, Karur, Erode, Solapur, Tirupur, Alleppy, Ludhiana etc.
o Follow up on sampling, lab dips, strike-offs, fit samples, pre-production, and bulk production.
o Ensure timely delivery and strict adherence to Orsun’s quality standards and AQL norms.
3. Order Execution & Follow-up
o Convert buyer enquiries into confirmed purchase orders.
o Prepare and maintain Time & Action calendars (T&A).
o Track production, inspections, and shipments (FOB/CIF).
o Resolve any quality or shipment-related issues in coordination with factories and third-party inspectors.
4. Product Development & Marketing Support
o Work with Israel designers on new collections and private-label programs.
o Develop tech packs, cost sheets, and marketing presentations (PPTs, lookbooks, catalogues).
o Prepare and share high-quality images, videos, and digital assets using WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.
o Assist in virtual fairs, buyer meetings, and online showroom presentations.
5. Reporting & Documentation
o Submit daily/weekly status reports to Country Head – India and Israel HO.
o Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, payments, and vendor performance.
o Ensure all export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, B/L, certificates, etc.) is accurate and timely.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (Textiles, Fashion, Business Administration or related field preferred).
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in Home Textiles export merchandising with European/US/Israeli buyers.
• Knowledge of yarns, fabrics, weaving, dyeing, printing, and finishing processes in home textiles.
• Excellent command over MS Office – especially PowerPoint (professional presentation skills are mandatory) and Excel.
• Proficient in WeTransfer, Google Workspace, Zoom/Teams, and WhatsApp Business communication.
• Good command over written and spoken English (Hebrew knowledge would be a big advantage but not mandatory).
• Strong negotiation, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
