Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Production In-Charge to oversee the manufacturing process in our apparel production unit. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production planning, quality control, timely delivery, and smooth workflow across departments. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and an in-depth understanding of garment production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution:

• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet order deadlines.
• Coordinate with the merchandising, sourcing, and design teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor fabric, trims, and raw material availability for uninterrupted production.

Job Work Management:

• Identify, onboard, and manage job work vendors for men’s garments.
• Allocate production orders to external units based on capacity and capability.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials from job work locations.

Production Supervision:

• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) at vendor locations to ensure adherence to quality and production schedules.
• Ensure vendors follow required garment construction techniques and specifications.
• Address and resolve production issues, delays, or quality concerns with vendors.

Quality Control & Compliance:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet required standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify defects and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations in the production unit.

Cost & Efficiency Management:

• Monitor production costs and reduce wastage to improve profitability.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure machines are in optimal condition.

Coordination & Reporting:

• Collaborate with Procurement team & store in charge  to ensure timely raw material procurement.
• Maintain production records, reports, and analysis to track efficiency and productivity.
• Provide regular updates to management on production progress and challenges.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Textile Technology, Garment Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in garment production, preferably in woven/knitwear manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching techniques, and production planning.
• Experience in managing a production team and handling factory operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Proficiency in production tracking software and MS Excel.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
