 Job Title: Business Development Manager – Geotechnical Solutions

Job Summary

Whizzo Textiles Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to expand its geotechnical solutions business. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and positioning the company as a preferred partner in geosynthetics and ground engineering solutions across infrastructure and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in geotechnical solutions such as geosynthetics, soil stabilization, ground improvement, erosion control, and reinforcement systems.
  • Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth in assigned regions or sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, developers, and government agencies.

Market Expansion

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Expand presence in sectors such as roads & highways, railways, mining, ports, and urban infrastructure.
  • Develop and strengthen channel partners, distributors, and key accounts.

Tendering & Proposals

  • Manage end-to-end tendering process including pre-qualification, bid preparation, techno-commercial proposals, and negotiations.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to deliver customized and competitive solutions.

Client Engagement

  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate geotechnical solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Coordination & Execution Support

  • Work closely with design, operations, and project teams to ensure smooth project handover and execution.
  • Monitor project progress and address client concerns during execution.

Reporting & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM records.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance, opportunities, and market insights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering; MBA is an advantage.
  • 10–15 years of experience in business development or sales within geotechnical, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience in geosynthetics or ground engineering solutions is highly preferred.
